All, employers and self-employed persons are reminded that remittance payments for February 2019 are due no later than 14 th March 2019 to avoid the 10% surcharge.

Further, employers are asked to take due care when submitting the monthly Remittance Form [R5A] as any incomplete or incorrect information will attract a penalty fee of $100 per page.

N.B.: For 2019, contribution rates are:

• Private Sector – 13 %

  – Employees – 5½ %
  – Employers – 7½ %

• Public Sector – 12 %

  – Employees – 4½ %
  – Employers – 7½ %

• The contribution rate for Self-employed persons remains at 10%.
