The Antigua & Barbuda Social Security Board apologizes to the pensioners of Eastern Caribbean Amalgamated Bank and the Bank of Nova Scotia for the inordinate delay of pension payments for October 2018.

The Organization has been experiencing funding challenges due to the low returns of remittances. Contribution Income is usually low in the summer months and September, historically.

We wish to advise that funds for Eastern Caribbean Amalgamated Bank have been released and we intend to release the funds for the Bank of Nova Scotia on Friday 16th, November 2018.

Again, we apologize to our pensioners who have been unfortunately affected by the current situation and pledge our commitment to addressing these funding issues.
