What is the pensionable age?
The current pensionable age is 63 years. However, the pension age will increase by 1 year, every 2 years until it reaches the pensionable age of 65 years in 2025.
Is there a paternity benefit?
No. However, if a married man is actively insured, and his wife is not insured with social security, he is entitled to apply for the Maternity Grant on behalf of his spouse.
