JOB SUMMARY:
This position supports the Corporate Relations team with a variety of tasks. The incumbent will assist with promotional materials, designing simple graphics, managing social media and outreach, launching email campaigns, researching media coverage, and promoting products. He/she will also typically perform administrative duties as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Must have seven (7) CXC subjects, must include Mathematics, English, Information Technology and Social Sciences.
- Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications. Excellent drafting skills.
- Adequate knowledge of Adobe photoshop and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Social Security Act & Regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of the ABSSB communication strategies.
- Assist in creating and delivering Corporate Relations related emails, brochures, newsletters, and other publications.
- Keep track of the ABSSSB related matters published in the media.
- Assist in drafting media releases and media kit development.
- Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications, as required.
- As instructed, initiate, plan, review, and engage the organization’s general media promotion and social media.
- Develop and consolidate relations with the media.
- Schedule and assist in managing advertising and promotion campaigns.
- Assist in developing and maintaining promotional communication materials such as print-outs, pamphlets, and WebPages.
- Contribute towards the ABSSB image through appearances and strategic marketing planning.
- Record, review and update the ABSSB communication strategies, as instructed.
- Assist in customer service delivery when required.
